Originally uncovered by Sky News host Peta Credlin, The Australian newspaper discovered Climate 200 candidates, together with Allegra Spender and Kylea Tink, have been suggested by Populares – A communications company based by former GetUp Campaign Director Mark Connelly.
GetUp will be part of Climate 200 in campaigning towards sitting Liberal MPs within the seats of Kooyong, Goldstein, and Mackellar, in accordance with The Australian.
“This is part of a clear strategy to destabilise the Coalition government and to destabilise Coalition candidates in a range of marginal seats,” Liberal Senator James McGrath advised Sky News Australia.
