Will Brown says turning into a Supercars championship contender won’t cease him from driving along with his “balls to the wall”.
Having shocked his sport to grow to be a title likelihood in simply his second season, Erebus Motorsport’s unlikely star mentioned he wouldn’t alter the “win it or bin it” model that has made him probably the most talked about subsequent massive factor since Scott McLaughlin.

“I am all about going for it and winning the race. I don’t think about anything else when I am out there. I don’t think about the championship when I am in the car, I just drive as hard as I can.”
An enormous-killer who may grow to be a heavyweight in his personal proper, Brown mentioned he already had his sights set on the V8 crown.
“I am definitely thinking about the championship,” he mentioned. “My goal in every category that I have raced in has been to win the championship and it is no different here. I am trying to do that here on Supercars.
“It is my goal to one day won the championship. I don’t know when that will happen, but I hope it will be sooner rather than later.”
Brown grew to become the primary driver since 2013 to win a race in his rookie 12 months final season when he beat Shane van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup to shock the game.
The 23-year-old confirmed himself as a contender by beginning the season-opening Sydney SuperNight with a top-10 end.
“It has been awesome,” Brown mentioned. “Firstly it was great to get a drive in the Supercars and then to be able to get a win and be competitive in my first year was even better. Maybe it was a bit quicker than expected but jumping in with a good team allows you to do it.
“I mean, look at what Broc Feeney is doing this year. He got a drive in a frontrunning team and is already up the front.
“I think if you are a good driver and believe in what you can do, then you are going to do well if you get into the right car.”
