International Students in Ukraine Evacuate Lviv Through ‘Green Corridor’

International students evacuating Lviv, Ukraine, through so-called “green corridors” established for safe passage from war-torn areas of the country recounted their experiences amid Russia’s invasion. Footage filmed by Ukrainian Witness, a group of media professionals documenting the war, shows crowds of students at Lviv Railway Station on March 10, they said. “We heard shelling sounds, we heard bombs, we saw the lights of bombs,” one student said. “It was such a disastrous experience for everyone.” More than 2.5 million Ukrainians had fled the country since Russia launched its attack on Ukraine, the United Nations Refugee Agency said on Friday.
