Eskom has introduced the resignation of its group government for technology, Phillip Dukashe. In a press release on Monday (9 May), the ability utility stated Dukashe’s final day will probably be on 31 May 2022.
“In his resignation letter and discussions with Eskom executives, Mr Dukashe has cited the critical need to achieve a balance for the benefit of his health, family and work responsibilities,” stated Eskom. “Phillip leaves behind a competent team to ensure sustainability of the generation division.”
Rhulani Mathebula will act within the interim because the group government for technology whereas the recruitment course of is initiated, Eskom stated. Mathebula is a seasoned energy station basic supervisor and had acted as group government technology previous to Phillip’s appointment.

In a separate assertion on Monday, Eskom introduced warned the South African public that, with the ability system severely constrained in the course of the night peaks, load-shedding is probably going ought to there be additional unit breakdowns.
