Dramatic CCTV Footage Exhibits Brushfire Closing in on Tennessee Cabin

A homeowner in Tennessee posted video from a recent brushfire that just missed her cabin in Sevierville on March 31. Tammy Hager posted these security camera videos to Facebook documenting what she called a “raging fire” coming close to her cabin. “We were so lucky and God was definitely watching over this cabin we love,” Hager wrote on Facebook. “Half of our subdivision was untouched. Our side of the subdivision has 56 homes gone and could possibly be more once they can access other streets. The cabins on my street are all gone.” The brushfire, burning north of Pigeon Forge, started on March 30. By April 3, the fire was “nearly contained,” according to reports.
