‘Big issue’ from leaders’ debate was Albanese’s ‘inability’ to vow wage enhance


Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says “the big issue" during last night’s Leaders’ Debate was Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese’s “inability to say that real wages will increase under his prime ministership”.

“He couldn’t guarantee that last night because no one can,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“But to me that’s the big issue because most people have got the impression their wages will be higher under an Albanese government. 

“And there’s no evidence of that whatsoever.”
