A massive crash at the top of the mountain forced Practice 2 for the Super2 Series to be red-flagged at Bathurst.
Declan Fraser was able to leave the car under his own power but was jostled through a high-speed collision with the wall on Wednesday afternoon.
Fraser’s MW Motorsport entry lost its right rear wheel nut in a fast corner resulting in heavy contact.

Most of the back of the car simply disappeared and the 21-year-old driver was totally out of control.
“It (the back of the car) absorbed the energy brilliantly, you can see the energy absorption – almost like a crash test,” one of the commentators said on Fox Sports.
“That car surely isn’t coming back on the track this weekend.”
