Anthony Albanese has ‘done a pretty good job’ of acting ‘more mature’

News Corp Columnist David Penberthy says there has been so much “knock” about Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese in the past, he has spent almost two years “trying to act more mature”.

“I actually think that he’s done a pretty good job of that,” Mr Penberthy told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“That knock about Albo, he’s had to, sort of, extinguish that and look someone who’s much more focused on, you know, bread and butter, family issues.

“And I think he’s very cleverly shedded the Shorten legacy of trying to govern from opposition and come up with a whole bunch of policies that scared the hell out of middle Australians.”
