Animal-rights demonstrators dressed as dinosaurs paraded through the streets of Pamplona, Spain, on July 5, to protest the post-pandemic return of the storied San Fermin ‘Running of the Bulls’ festival. This video uploaded to Twitter by animal-rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) shows protesters dressed in dinosaur costumes marching through the streets of Pamplona holding placards that read: “Bullfighting is prehistoric.” According to co-organizers AnimaNaturalis, a Spanish NGO, this is their 18th protest. The San Fermin festival sees bulls run through the streets chasing festival-goers. The animals are guided toward the bull ring, where they are later killed during bullfights. The famous festivities that draw tens of thousands of visitors from around the world were canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Credit: PETA via Storyful
